Concentrating in special mission aviation training, operations, exercises, evaluations, and management to effectively prevent, deter, respond to, and/or recover from acts of terrorism, natural disaster, hazards, and incidents that affect security and public safety.
Special Applications Group recently expanded its special mission aviation training program to include other-than Federal and government agencies, concentrating on airborne law enforcement and the first responder community at-large.
Our company strength is tactical helicopter training and operations. Given our predominant military special operations backgrounds, we don’t tell law enforcement organizations or first responders how to perform their mission. However, we’ve learned in the post-9/11 environment, especially while supporting Federal law enforcement and other agencies, many organizations desire and need a contemporary approach to employing its high-cost aviation assets to maximize the effectiveness of the entire force in countering new, more complex and dynamic situations. Therefore, we partner with you to train tactics-techniques-procedures that are tailored to benefit your entire department. At the completion of training, we provide written training documentation, including tasks-conditions-standards, that you can modify to meet your unique needs and standing operating procedures.
Our management, instructor pilots, and trainers honed their skills in demanding organizations, including Task Force 160, the premier counterterrorism aviation unit in DoD, and several law enforcement organizations. All have led and participated in counterterrorism operations, worldwide, with DoD and DoJ.

Integration in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) |
Successful tactical aviation capabilities are not developed overnight. Without question, confusing enthusiasm with capability will result in unmitigated disaster when it matters most. Consequently, quality training must be task and performance based, at the individual and collective levels. A crawl-walk-run training methodology is a proven technique we employ to develop and sustain perishable skills that enable you to routinely perform high-risk tasks, safely and to standard.
